Management of Public Records

Florida public records law provides a significant body of standards and requirements that govern the “life cycle” of Florida’s public records. A comprehensive records and information management program is an essential component of any business entity, public or private.

The Marion County Clerk’s Office provides records storage along with a system for disposal of records. The Records Management process is based on established standards, procedures, and techniques which ensure compliance with State Records Management guidelines.
