The Clerk of Court and Comptroller serves as the chief financial officer of Marion County. The Clerk is responsible for the collection, custody and disbursement of funds for the Board of County Commissioners (BCC). Along with the handling of County monies, the Clerk is responsible for the related accounting and financial reporting. Accounting includes not only cash transactions, but also all property owned by the BCC.
