Marriage License Application

Family Law Handbook

It is required that each applicant read the Family Law Handbook before completing the marriage license application.  It will provide the requirements for obtaining a marriage license.  To view the handbook, please click on the link below.

Please note that there is an error on Page 8 of the Family Law Handbook (“You will save $32.50 on your marriage license fee if you take a premarital education course.”). Pursuant to changes in Florida law, effective July 1, 2017, you will save $25.00, not $32.50, on your marriage license fee if you take a premarital education course. [Florida Statute 741.01(4)]

Marriage License Application

Marriage license applications can now be submitted for processing by using our online kiosk. Please refer to the Family Law Handbook prior to completing the marriage license application. Once the application has been submitted using the kiosk, please schedule an appointment to issue the marriage license by using the online appointment scheduler. Both parties will need to be present and provide identification, along with your confirmation number.

To begin the application process, click on the kiosk link below.

Please note that if the marriage license application is not completed within 90 days, a new application will need to be submitted.
