New Service and Filing Requirements in Marion County Circuit Civil Cases

Effective July 1, 2022, plaintiffs in civil cases filed in the Marion County Circuit Court are required to serve with each summons two separate standing orders, as listed below:

1. Standing Order for Case Management and Submission of Agreed Case Management Plan in Circuit Civil Cases in Marion County

AND

2. Standing Order Establishing Motion Practice Procedures in Circuit Civil Cases in Marion CountyThe standing orders referenced above are available for download at https://www.marioncountyclerk.org/standingorders. They are also available to purchase in the Clerk’s Circuit Civil Department.

Please note: After service of the summons(es) and standing orders, plaintiffs are required to file a copy of the standing orders in the relevant circuit civil case together with proof of service.
