Records Center/Research

The Marion County Clerk’s Record Center provides assistance with research and copy requests of documents recorded in the Official Records, including deeds, marriage licenses, plat maps and right-of-way documents. The Record Center building is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

The Record Center maintains the microfilm of indexes and images of earlier documents, in addition to recorded documents available on the Clerk’s website from 1967 to present.  Regular or certified copies of these records may be ordered from the Record Center in person or by mail at the addresses stated below.  Please refer to the Research Request page or call 352-671-8545 for more information on this service.
