OCALA, Fla. (May 19, 2026) – The Marion County Clerk of Court and Comptroller’s Office is proud to announce the release of its Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR) for the fiscal year ended September 30, 2025.

The PAFR is designed to be an easy-to-read summary of Marion County’s financial activities and economic condition, condensing the content from the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) into a much simpler, aggregated presentation. The PAFR provides insight into how tax dollars are collected, spent and invested in Marion County, along with information on employment, housing, tourism, economic impacts and more.

The Annual Comprehensive and Popular Annual Financial Reports are prepared under the supervision of the Marion County Clerk of Court and Comptroller, Gregory C. Harrell.
