Municipal Advisor Rule
The Securities and Exchange Commission has recently released rules regarding how an underwriting firm ensures that an issuer (Marion County Board of County Commissioners) understands that the issuer’s independent registered municipal (financial) advisor (Public Financial Management, Inc.) is the primary firm providing financial advice and not the underwriter. This letter was developed to comply with this rule. We have sent it to all known underwriters.
