Commission Records
The Florida Constitution provides for the Clerk to act as Ex-Officio Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners. In this capacity, a primary responsibility of the Clerk is to record, create minutes, and create an index of the minutes for the Board of County Commission meetings. Audio recordings are available to the public for listening purposes or purchase. These actions by an independent, elected official, assures the integrity of the minutes.
Public Search of Commission Records
There are three types of Commission Records Searches:
BCC Agendas and Meetings – These records include Meeting Agendas, Board Minutes, and Supporting Documents.
BCC Resolutions and Ordinances – These are the Resolutions and Ordinances that are created after the BCC Meetings.
MCCRAB and VAB Documents – These are documents relating to the Marion County Community Redevelopment Agency Board and the Value Adjustment Board.
