As part of the County's implementation of the Governor's Phase 1 Plan, the Marion County Clerk's Office will re-open to the public on Monday, May 4th.

There are no changes to the current Court Administrative Order addressing court dates, processes, evictions, & foreclosures. All statutes providing for mortgage foreclosure or eviction actions due to non-payment of rent by residential tenants are still suspended and tolled until May 18, 2020, per EO 20-94. The Clerk's issuance of writs of possession "forthwith" is still suspended until further order of the Florida Supreme Court, per AOSC 20-23. And foreclosure sales in the Fifth Judicial Circuit are still canceled until further order of the court, per A-2020-13-D.

Pursuant to Administrative Order, courts remain closed with the exception of essential proceedings.
